installation "amen" consisting of 14 dildos nailed to the wall turned
out to be extremely interactive: during the opening on may 28th 2010 in the
moho gallery in cracow, poland the audience interacted with the art and
disassembled and stole 9 of 14 dildos. kurt von bley wishes the
interactive audience a lot of fun with the toys!

„moherowe berety“ (poln.) – zu Deutsch: Barett-Mützen aus Mohair. „moherowe berety“ ist ein feststehender Begriff im heutigen Polen und bezeichnet meist ältere und äußerst konservativ eingestellte Personen. Sie werden benannt nach einer Art uniformer Kopfbedeckung, den Barett-Mützen aus Mohair, einer Angora-Wolle, die meist ältere Frauen gerne tragen. Das Pars pro toto „moherowe berety“ impliziert die erzkonservativ katholische und polnisch-nationalistische Gesinnung dieser Menschen, die sich u.a. in öffentlichen Hasstiraden gegen Juden, Homosexuelle, Kommunisten, andere Minderheiten oder auch Abtreibungen in dem zu 98% katholischen Land richtet. Das Sprachorgan der „moherowe berety“ ist der berühmt berüchtigte katholische Radiosender RADIO MARYJA, zu dessen Anhängern allerdings alte wie junge Menschen gehören. (text: kurt von bley, 2009)
